I don&amp;#39;t have a problem with that because it&amp;#39;s been pretty firmly proven that video games increase reaction times and improve visual processing. Most modern games also incorporate a good deal of problem solving puzzles. So, I agree with your thesis about television because it is a passive activity. Video games would make for an interesting article as well. I wonder how other parents feel about it.</content><link rel='edit' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4848368561527727823/5908504156609221890/comments/default/2947833990818834056'/><link rel='self' type='application/atom+xml' href='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4848368561527727823/5908504156609221890/comments/default/2947833990818834056'/><link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://www.gladdads.com/2009/09/television-kids-part-1.html?showComment=1254187924513#c2947833990818834056' title=''/><author><name>Keith Wilcox</name><uri>http://www.almightydad.com</uri><email>noreply@blogger.com</email><gd:image xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' rel='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005#thumbnail' width='16' height='16' src='http://img1.blogblog.com/img/blank.gif'/></author><thr:in-reply-to xmlns:thr='http://purl.org/syndication/thread/1.0' href='http://www.gladdads.com/2009/09/television-kids-part-1.html' ref='tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4848368561527727823.post-5908504156609221890' source='http://www.blogger.com/feeds/4848368561527727823/posts/default/5908504156609221890' type='text/html'/><gd:extendedProperty xmlns:gd='http://schemas.google.com/g/2005' name='blogger.itemClass' value='pid-1484724310'/></entry></feed>
